Salta and Jujuy
Beautiful landscapes, delicious and
cheap cuisine, and Andean culture. If you are backpacking between Bolivia and
Argentina, or even if you are just visiting Buenos Aires for an extended time,
you should try to spend one to two weeks traveling around the cities, small
towns, and open spaces of Salta and Jujuy.

Why Hostel not Hotel
Why choose a hostel and not a hotel?
How come Hostels suddenly became so popular? Why is my dad still traveling the world and goes to hostels? Apparently hostels didn’t exist before, what happened?

Me and Buenos Aires
Most days in my visit to Buenos Aires I ate in a restaurant. Not because I
couldn’t cook at my friends apartment but because it was so inexpensive and the
quality of the food was amazing. My visit to Buenos Aires brought good things to
my life. I hope you visit Argentina soon and experience far more great things
than me.

Backpacking Buenos Aires
I’ve been in Argentina three months now and I’ve done embarrassingly little traveling outside Buenos Aires – as in none. I’m
on a low budget and while I could plan a cheap weekend vacation
backpacking around some youth hostels, staying in my relatively cushy
city apartment often seems much more appealing, and gives me plenty of
opportunities to explore the city.

What are hostels?
Hostels, or youth hostels, are small cheap hotels, based on the ideals of sharing, and offer cheap accommodation for travelers who are seeking an inexpensive vacation. In most of them, the guests, usually backpackers, share a multy-bed dormitory, a common lounge area and a kitchen that's open to all. This concept makes it possible to keep a low cost operation, and allows the traveler to enjoy a long and cheap vacation. All and all, the international youth hostels offer the perfect solution for the backpackers seeking low budget accommodation.
