A day in Tel Aviv on 01/07/09 by tommy

Tel Aviv promenade- an amazing 6 km of sandy white beaches with some original places to check out.  You can close your eyes and dream of the French Riviera, which is not less beautiful then this little Middle East psychedelic city.

If you want to choose a good spot to chill and listen to music while drinking a cold beer or eat something right on the beach, we recommend Banana Beach, the place with the shiny green chairs and the best vibes.

If you did not try Shakshuka yet, don't forget. It's the yummiest stuff!!!

Ben Gurion BLVD

This old guy had a dream, David Ben Gurion , not the Airport the man himself.  its Free!!!

You can visit the first prime minister's house in 17 Ben Gurion BLVD. There you can enjoy about 20,000 books of him and his lovely wife Paula and some really nice history.

Walking down the Street facing a beautiful sunset, arrive to the Marina where you can rent Kayak, surf boards or even kite boards. Around you can mingle with surfer around the Hilton beach. Chill out with a Gold Star the best local Beer. Some great moments on the park below the Hilton hotel where you can watch an amazing sunset from 40 meters above the beach.

Bialik Street

Just Of Allenby street don't forget to walk into "Chaim Nachman Bialik" , Israel most notorious writer. Any new age Israeli has to learn his poetry to get a high school diploma. The writing is amazing! The writer's house is just down the street and open for visits.

Neve Tsedek Neighborhood - Artistic area, with Beautiful cafes and art stores.

This neighborhood located in southwestern Tel Aviv, was established at 1887 It was the first Jewish hood to be built outside the walls of ancient Jaffa. Beautiful colorful houses, small café's and designers stores marking your way down the streets. Here u can try good Yemenite food and explore the houses of the Tel Aviv pioneer that lived here 100 years ago. Also here located "Suzan dalhal" dance center an amazing architecture, culture melting pot and most of it.....a place 2 remember.

Port of tel Aviv-"Namal" Old harbor just became new. Check out the new shopping area, lots of restaurants ,clubs ,bars ,and just hangout on the deck. Here u can find almost anything, this location is a busy place on the weekends.

On Tuesday's and Friday's u can find here a nice vivid flea market with all the "alte zachen" that put u back on a retro feeling and surely make your day!!! Shopping like crazy.

Talking about shopping....5 minute walk from there u meet the monster "dizingof center" a BIG shopping center where u can find anything....all the big brands.cinema.gym,and many more.

Basically! This all area is the "shop like there is no 2morrow". U can easy spend and do your last

Tel-Aviv gay city- known 2gether with Berlin, Sydney, and Miami. it's a city on the beach, lots of sexy muscles guys on the promande.tel Aviv as its own way. Open minded city, that with the years accepted the gay community. here u can crush in2 the "Diva" Dana international on Ben yehuda st or down at the café.

The gay scene is versatile with lots 2 offers....most of the night life is a mixture of people. gay friendly atmosphere. Early June is the gay parade which is a delightful endless party on the sunny side of the city.

Gay Bars -down the nechalat Binyamin rd u can visit some of the coolest places.

-Rachov Hamazalot - Astorlogy Streets try 2 locate your astrology sign, pastorally old city inside the walls.yaffo was mentioned already in the bible and I guess that's why so many nation's fought over that city, that was controlled by the ottomans and the brit's before it became a natural part of tel Aviv.

Eat in Abulfaia an Israeli icon owned by Arabic family from yafo.this business run from father 2 sun many generations. It's a Taboon bakery a big breek oven, leker sambusaq, pizza, pitta, and any other goos stuf 2 munches while walking the st of yaffo .

Best fish in Yafo - Beni the fisherman was the best most expensive fish you can find

Abu Chasan- The best Chumos you can eat. Its cheap. It's a dream fantasy of flavors and if you eat a lot we recommend a short nap after food.

Azrieli center: visit the 49th floor and check out the most panoramic view you will find in the city. located down the ayalon high way. a huge shopping center lots of entertainment, and the railway station all inside this massive venue

Trumpeldor cemetery: where most of the people who built this country are buried there. yes another spooky spot in the center of the city where u can meet all the who's of the decade,Bialick and Dizingof Shenkin andArlozorov.finally al the streets got a mening.
