Ubicado sobre una de las avenidas más importantes de la ciudad de buenos Aires, el Avenue Hostel es una opción ideal si viaja para conocer el corazón de la ciudad. Cuenta con muchas comodidades como un gran living comedor, dormitorios para 4 y 8 personas, baños privados, aire acondicionado, Internet gratis y cocina. Tanto los viajeros independientes que buscan un buen precio como los que quieren un poco de diversión encuentran en el avenue a una gran variedad de nacionalidades. La ubicación le permite al viajero trasladarse sin problemas de un lugar a otro a pie, ya que es un punto de la ciudad muy céntrico que queda cerca de los principales lugares.
Los dormitorios cuestan algo de $6 y los baños son compartidos por hasta 4 personas. Si lo necesitara, podría dejar su equipaje en el espacio que se usa para guardar los equipajes. La cocina es uno de los lugares más acondicionados y completos y el área común tiene un televisor también, el desayuno está incluido. Lo bueno de un hostel tan completo como este es que si uno quiere, puede almorzar o cenar en el restaurante del hostel. La diversión y juegos como la mesa de pool, las clases de tango, de español y la información turística son algunas de la actividades que se ofrecen y que a un buen precio se pueden disfrutar.
Aunque esté en plena urbe, el hostal Avenue también sabe de organización de escaladas, ciclismo, pesca, golf, salida en moto, navegación, natación, visitas por la ciudad, entre otros.
Puntos de referencia: El obelisco, símbolo de la capital está unas pocas cuadras de la Plaza de Mayo, plaza que ha sido y sigue siendo el lugar donde los argentinos se reúnen a reclamar por los derechos, a celebrar a sus políticos o a echarlos;tofod los fenómenos políticos ocurrieron primero en la plaza de mayo. El Congreso o Parlamento Nacional es otro de los íconos. Puerto Madero, una zona nueva que sólo tiene 17 años, representa la parte exclusiva y moderna del la rivera porteña. Las principales líneas de colectivos, y estaciones de subte, están a un paso del Avenue hostel. Av. de Mayo 950

18 hours is a long time to be in a bus. Was it at least one of those luxury buses with the ecilinrng seats that I have read about in Argentina or was it just you're average rickety bus? What did you do for the whole 18 hours. I figure you didn't sleep much. I never do when I'm traveling.Puerto Madryn looks beautiful if you're photo is anything to go by. Is it a resort town by the water or just your typical Argentine town or is it too early to tell just yet?

Nice video Meghan. I liked that you explained how droaegnus situations are present in any country. I explain that to people all the time when they are like what, you lived where? I remember one time when I was living in Bogota, I was talking to someone in the city who told me that it was droaegnus to live in Bogota haha (that person was a very rich old guy from a gated community in one of the wealthiest parts of the city, so again you have to always evaluate your sources of information). For people out there who are interested in studying abroad, don't let other people's opinions, which are often based off a very limited number of sources anyway, stop you from what most likely will be an eye-opening, enriching experience. Certainly, use common sense abroad. And before you go, sure, do your research and seek advice from people who have already lived abroad, but there are many wonderful experiences to have out there and if you are reading this post I hope you are researching around and making plans for travel and study soon! When I subscribed to FlightExplorer I used to see QFA17 way south of Stewart Island on the dierct great circle route. If you draw a straight line on a globe that's the route between Sydney and Buenos Aries.Already had a couple of the new Virgin Australia B738 s come south from the US, so the more the merrier!

You are right to be proud of your sons, that's for certain. I soppuse the good thing we did this year was buy a second hand RV for cash to manage future travel in Europe. It's not as exciting as plane and train travel maybe, but perhaps it's more sustainable. It's a new adventure for us and we'll decide if we like it or not over the next couple of years. On the down side, an old friend passed away unexpectedly a couple of months ago and it's made me look at my mortality, at our ages, and realise that some doors are closing. I think I'm OK with that, but it's also a little scary. I hope to get back on track with my running or something else that will get me fit again. I know I can't turn back the clock exactly, but I also know I've not done my best with this. So onward and upward or something like that! Best wishes for 2012 and I'm really honoured that you visit my blog.

Hi Corinna, thanx for the comment! It is true that you must accpet one another, but that does not mean that individuals should not work to improve themselves and each try to make their spouse happy. We don't need to try to change a significant facet of personality or character, it may be as simple as inserting manners/courtesy into your dealings with each other. I'm amazed and appalled at how many husbands do not thank their wives and act as if whatever she's done is expected; or how many wives put down their husbands to their friends. When hearing other women disparage their husbands, a wonderful woman I once knew would respond by saying, I must have mis-heard you. I know you wouldn't be talking about your honey that way. I definitely heard you wrong . If we are each the strongest advocate for our own spouses, and guard each other with the great loyalty we each deserve, our marriages would be less prone to outside influences.

Like giving tax breaks to the wealthy is supposed to help the middle class.Spinners for the RDAs argue that redevelopment activities support 304,000 jobs annually, including 170,600 construction jobs; contribute more than $40 billion annually to California’s economy in the generation of goods and services; and generate more than $2 billion in state and local taxes in a typical year.Moreover, since the law requires 20 percent of the tax increment to be dedicated for low- and moderate-income housing, the RDAs argue that eliminating redevelopment will significantly undermine efforts to provide homes for those who otherwise cannot afford it.A close look at the numbers: But the most thorough and academically sound study of redevelopment we’re aware of, by Michael Dardia of the Public Policy Institute of California, found in 1998:“After correcting for local real estate trends, the author finds that redevelopment projects do not increase property values by enough to account for the tax-increment revenues they receive. Overall, the agencies stimulated enough growth to cover just above half of those tax revenues. The rest resulted from local trends and would have gone to other jurisdictions in the absence of redevelopment.”A study by the nonpartisan Legislative Analyst’s Office recently concluded as much and more.“While redevelopment leads to economic development within project areas, there is no reliable evidence that it attracts businesses to the state or increases overall regional economic development. Instead, the limited academic literature on this topic finds that — viewed from the perspective of an entire city or region — the effect of this program on property values is minimal. That is, redevelopment may cause some geographic shifts in economic development, but does not increase the overall amount of economic activity in a region. (emphasis added)“The independent research we reviewed found little evidence that redevelopment increases jobs. That is — similar to the analyses of property values — the research typically finds that any employment gains in the project areas are offset by losses in other parts of the region. We note that one study, commissioned by the California Redevelopment Association, vastly overstates the employment effects of redevelopment areas.“Redevelopment agencies receive over $5 billion of tax increment revenues annually. Lacking any reliable evidence that the agencies’ activities increase statewide tax revenues, we assume that a substantial portion of these revenues would have been generated anyway elsewhere in the region or state.“For example, a redevelopment agency might attract to a project area businesses that previously were located in other California cities, or that were planning to expand elsewhere in the region. In either of these cases, property taxes paid in the project area would increase, but there would be no change in statewide property tax revenues.“To the extent that a redevelopment agency receives property tax revenues without generating an overall increase in taxes paid in the state, the agency reduces revenues that otherwise would be available for local agencies to spend on nonredevelopment programs, including law enforcement, fire protection, road maintenance, libraries and parks.” (emphasis added)The bottom line: In other words, despite the good arguments that RDAs make about the enormously positive local impacts of redevelopment — San Jose’s downtown and its northern industrial area are excellent examples — the evidence suggests there’s a huge cost to the state (which has to back-fill funds that otherwise would have gone to schools) and little benefit or a substantial cost to counties and special districts.We’re not even getting to other issues, like the fact that the only “blight” a lot of redevelopment areas had before they were made projects was pear blight, and the fact that there’s virtually no oversight of how redevelopment funds are spent (and millions of dollars are spent outside the law’s intent to subsidize flagging city budgets and improve stable neighborhoods). That’s just piling on.Brown’s budget would ensure that RDAs will receive enough money to cover the debt service on bonds they have already issued (although the structure of the agencies that will make those payments still must be worked out).But in an era when California is faced with draconian cutbacks to higher education, schools, parks and public safety, the diversion of property taxes to redevelopment agencies is a luxury the state can no longer afford.

Bankrupt the cities, school districts, and the State by the CRA's taking billions upon billions of dollars of proeprty tax dollars and then blame Prop 13. Then undo Prop 13 so that more and more people and small businesses are driven from their homes and businesses allowing real estate speculators to buy up their properties.Middle Class businesses will be the first to be destroyed as they are often located in older commercial structures with stable rents due to stable proeprty taxes. As soon as Prop 13 is taken away from commercial properties, the structures housing small businesses, e.g. Hillhurst, Franklin Village, older apartments, will be re-appraised and their taxes will jump so high so fast that the owners will be unable to afford the proeprty taxes and their tenants will likewise be unable to bear the new taxes.Then these commercial buildings will be BK and their businesses will be homeless. As was occurring before Prop 13, real estate speculators will buy the properties.Of course, no CRA proeprty will have increased taxes because they pay ZERO incremental proeprty taxes.

On a side note while there are difficulties or truolbes in a relationship or marriage, both the partners need to take effort to know the other partner a lot more with each passing day. Usually imposing and controlling views and also acts will only lead to far more issues and conflicts.
