When to go:
Cordoba has a Mediterranean climate and pleasant weather can be experienced year-round, so the best time to go to Cordoba really depends on what kind of weather you enjoy and what sort of activities you are interested in. The summers (Dec-Feb) have hot days, cool nights, and most of the rainfall. Winters (Jun-Aug) are dry and cooler but never harsh.

How to get there:
By far the cheapest way to reach Cordoba is by bus, if you鈥檙e not in a hurry. The following companies have bus service between Buenos Aires and Cordoba and also serve routes between Cordoba and other major cities: Flecha Bus, El Turista, and TATA. From the other major cities in Argentina but not serving Buenos Aires also check out Panamericano, El Serrano, Mar del Plata, Cacorba, TAC, and El Rapido. The bus ride between Buenos Aires and Cordoba is 13 hours. For those on a bigger budget, or who lack the patience for long overnight bus rides, flying by plane is also an option when traveling to Cordoba. Companies flying between Cordoba and other cities within Argentina include Lan Argentina, Aerolineas, Argentina, Sol Lineas Aereas, and Taxi Aereo Transtam. Check out the company websites for prices and reservations. Some bus companies may offer student discounts.
