We are not a basic hostel , and you know why? Because we have attractions and facilities that others in Arequipa do not have that make us the funniest, coziest and homiest hostel in town, all brand new with a high quality of service and a touch of funky and modern decoration:

Arequipay Backpackers offers you:

A Stunning Patio with big gardens, hammocks, patios sets, gas patio heaters and fire pits to be comfortable in the cold nights, also we have a Pool but due to the low temperatures it will be closed between July to August (winter season). As well we have a big charcoal brick barbecue. read more

A Game room with a 42' LCD HD TV and DVD, Pool table, hockey table, ping pong table, dartboard, plus three computers with flat-panel.

A play station 3 room with a 32'LCD flat screen with home theater system.

A huge movie room with a 55' LCD HD TV with a Home Theater System and an extensive movie collection.

A huge, comfortable and homely kitchen with all the appliances and cookware that you will need for a perfect meal.

Rooms with comfortable beds, some of them are really spacious with clossets,, TV, cable and with wonderfull views. (The single room and the small double bed room are on the terrace and are basic / also we have a a) Standard Big double bed room that comes with a single bed plus TV Cable and b) Standard Twin room with TV cable).

And for those that want to do outdoor games we have next to the hostel 2 racquetball courts.

Fun - We have so many tours and activities happening every week like:

From Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 10 30 am free transfer to downtown

Tuesday and Friday: Barbecues!

Mondays and Wednesday: We organized a movie night!

Thursdays: If you like to play cards you will enjoy our pocker night on Thursdays!

Arequipay Backpackers is a hostel that offers you indoor and outdoor spaces that are perfect to socialize with all travelers. This is the ideal hostel for those travelers that need to chill out after their long journeys without losing the feeling like to be in your own house. We are not a Party Hostel but we have all the facilities to have a lot of fun!. We assure you that this will be the hostel that you never want to leave!

You will have for free! Internet, wi-fi, breakfast, spices to cook, mate, tea, free luggage storage, free towels and free access to all our attractions!. And free calls to the USA and Canada!!

Because we care of your safety we are located in the most secure and organized area in Arequipa. It is only 8 minutes away by car from the downtown (The cost of a taxi is S/ 4.00). The house is surrounded by green areas in a quiet neighborhood away from the noisy streets and sometimes danger areas of the downtown.
