  BA STOP HOSTEL

  great location, very clean bathrooms. Dorms facing the road is quite noisy from outside traffic but i guess they cannot help that. Beds and pillows are pretty flat but nice and spacious lounge area for hanging out with other people!!

  SO FUN!!! My first hostel experience and quite possibly my favorite! Everyone that we met was cool and fun, and the staff was helpful and did everything that we had asked of them. Not gonna lie though, it was a bit noisy since it was near Avenida 9 de Julio (which is an amazing location though) and people do stay up late and come back late.. but it is all part of the buenos aires experience!!! defintely stay here!!!

  I liked BA STOP Hostel in Buenos Aires ( www.bastop.com ) because the staff they have working at the reception. All the people were sooooo nice and helpfull and smiling. Even the persons who were cleaning the building. It is very nice and a good place to stay in the center!! Moreover, is clean, has a kitchen and feels pretty home. Thanks

  Despues de haber conocido y comparado con otros Hostel la verdad que esta bajo el promedio, la atencion del staff fue discreta. Cuando llegamos la habitacion tenía el piso sucio, Mucho ruido en la noche del tráfico, Los baños poco aseados, las imagenes del la página tando de los interiores como exteriores fueron de hace bastante tiempo, ya que se ve que no a sido muy bien mantenido el local. Lo bueno es sólo lo centrico.

  Un lugar muy ameno. El personal que trabaja allí es muy amigable y siempre está lista para darte una mano con cualquier duda. Las habitaciones están bien, nada espectacular. Casilleros listos para ser usados, pero recordar llevar candados grandes. Con respecto a los baños, solamente hay 1 baño con 2 duchas y dos waters. Recomendable.

  The staff were often rude or showed little interest in our well-being as guests. The breakfast left much to be desired, offering the bare minimum of coffee juice and bread. The beds were very uncomfortable, and I'm pretty sure they had mites/bedbugs since I came back with bitemarks all over my legs. The bathrooms were in terrible conditions, one of the toilets didn't even have a seat and the showers seemed very old and untreated. The photos on the website certainly mislead me in my decision to choose this hostel. I booked a double room, at $40 a night I wasn't expecting treatment from a 5-star hotel, but considering it had been rated top hostel in 2006 and 2007, I was expecting a lot more than we got. In reality, it feels as if the hostel stopped caring after they got their top rating...

  Great hostel, just shouldn't advertise double rooms if they don't have double beds as there is only one room in the hostel for couples.
