Bothy is perfect for hanging out, relaxing and meeting fellow travellers. We have a common area with a DVD collection, rooftop terrace with hammocks, and a shared kitchen for all guests to use. In addition to a weekly BBQ, we also have daily activities, Spanish lessons, volunteer opportunities, and we can help organize tours and excursions in Arequipa and the surrounding region. read more

Directions
We are centrally located in Arequipa, just a 5 minute walk from Plaza de Armas.
If you call us from the bus station, we can pick you up, or you can take a taxi for 3-4 soles. From the airport we can pick you up for 15 soles.
Important! If you take a taxi, be aware that they may try to take you to a more expensive hotel where they receive a commission.

Bothy Hostel has great prices on dorms, perfect for those on a backpacker budget. The location is really convenient; in just 5 minutes you can walk to the main plaza of Arequipa. The owners run the hostel in addition to a travel agency down the street where you can book all kinds of tours and excursions. Plus they have events every night in the hostel...movies, BBQs, fiestas and more!

Really nice and helpful staff. One of the newer hostels in Arequipa. They also have Spanish classes and can help you find volunteer opportunities!

Very backpacker-friendly hostel, ideal place to meet other travellers. Super helpful staff can help you make travel arrangements. I would definitely stay here again!
