Casa de la Gringa is a bright, colorful hostel with a laid-back atmosphere and a garden area filled with tons of plants. The decor is funky and eclectic with cozy places to relax; in the common room you will find TV, music and pool table.

The staff is especially kind. However, when I was there, San Blas lost it's water for one day...Otherwise, in my opinion, it's better to have a room at the back of Casa de la Gringa because it´s quieterand be warned the very hot showers are too hot! It's burn or freeze! Also, the Annex is freezing, but the beds are good and have at least 4 blankets each!

Casa de la Gringa has to be one of the coolest hostels. there is so much charm and character and all the rooms are so fun and colorful. The staff is some of the nicest I´ve ever met and really make you feel comfortable.
