Hostal Jhomana offers rooms for one, two, three, four people and also a nice dorm. All rooms include private bathrooms and have super comfortable beds. Some of our other included services are shared kitchen, laundry service, Wi-Fi Internet, Internet connected guest computer, and a rooftop with barbecue and sun chairs. We also have lots of board games for you to enjoy with your fellow travelers as well as cable TV and DVDs.

Directions
The easiest way to get to Hostal Jhomana is to buy a taxi transfer at the airport for about US$5.
From the bus terminal you can take the Trolebús to the Santa Clara stop. Then walk through the park and we are one and a half blocks away on Calle Gil Ramirez Dávalos close to Avenida Amazonas.

Located in the Mariscal Area on a quiet street, hostal Johmana is one of the most relaxed and safe hostels in Quito. The Swedish-Ecuadorian couple whom manage/own the hostel are always helpful and more then knowledgeable about what to do and where to go. On the balcony you will find a magnificent view of the mountains surrounding Quito. The hostel offers tours, laundry services, breakfast, Internet and book-exchange.

Close to lots of great bars and restaurants and also a safe neighborhood. Very friendly staff. Try to get a room on the second floor if possible, much quieter up there!

More like a hotel than a hostel, this is a good place to get your own room, and have some peace and quiet. It is still a short walk from the main areas of restaurants and bars. Breakfast downstairs was nice, and the staff really helpful in organising excursions. I guess the only thing is that I think the commission we paid for the Galapogas trip was a little high - about $50 each which is a lot for a backpacker and for Ecuador.
