  Pretty basic services, but cute little rooms and, more importantly, newly renovated showers/bathrooms.The ladies running this hostel also offer laundry services and can help you arrange trips and transportation (even though they might not give you the best prices). I think they also offer breakfast and a packed lunch for those going on longer daytrips (for a bit extra).

  When we arrived they did not have a record of our reservation but luckily they had the room we wanted. The prices are not the same as those listed on minihostels (it is Bs25/pers/night for double with private ensuite). Because they had no record of our reservation the deposit we paid to minihostels was not taken off the final bill. Anyway, the hostel is great value. It is a little far from the action although nowhere is too far in Copacabana and this is not a bad thing cause it is nice and quiet. Do not book here as reservations seem to be all but meaningless.

  DO NOT book this hostel on line as they do not honour the online reservations! We found this out after our 5 day stay when we went to pay and they charged us more than the minihostels reservation said we should and despite a print out refused to budge. Also we had to complain 4 times about a broken shower in our room and no one cleaned our bathroom bin for 5 days. The old lady who runs it doesn't seem to have a clue as to what is going on.
