Hostel One is located in picturesque San Telmo, one of Buenos Aires? oldest and most emblematic neighborhoods. The barrio is an amalgam of old, crumbling buildings, tango music drifting out of smoky bars, artists and writers feverishly working at their craft, and hordes of tourists. It?s an interesting place to be to say the least.
Hostel One is located less than 5 minutes by foot from Plaza Dorrego, which is one of the few open air plazas in all of Buenos Aires. Any day of the week you can find people enjoying a pint and watching the live music and tango performers that come for the tourists. Every Sunday the plaza is taken over by an arts and crafts fair, where artisans offer everything from maté gourds to antique copper knick knacks. read more

Just a few meters away from Plaza Dorrego (well known for its beautiful atmosphere, its antique stores and the handcraft market), you will find our beautifully restored hostel.
Hostel One is located in San Telmo, the most historic area of Buenos Aires. Just a short walk takes you to Plaza Dorrego where you will find the open-air crafts and antiques market, tango performers, and tons of great traditional Porteño cafes and restaurants. Enjoy the sunny rooftop terrace in the summer, and the air conditioners in every room!

Sunny comfortable rooms with balconies overlooking the street. Plus they have a cool rooftop terrace perfect for spending a relaxing afternoon enjoying some sun. I loved the location, it was so great to walk to the feria in San Telmo and just bum around exploring this historical and interesting part of Buenos Aires.

Hostel One is located in a turn of the century building just minutes from Plaza Dorrego and Parque Lezama, two of the most important places for any tourist to visit in San Telmo. Also not too far from Plaza de Mayo and the Obelisco as well as Caminito and La Boca neighborhoods.

The price canÂ?t be beat...10 USD per night to stay in one of the best and most lively neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. Not the most impressive hostel I have seen, but for the price its just fine.
