The plan design of plaza is build like a checkerboard and inside the square there are more interesting buildings like the Tourist Information Service of Santiago, the Cathedral of Santiago, the Post Office, the National History Museum, and the Municipality of Santiago. Directions
From airport, just say at taxi driver to take you to Plaza de Armas, to the Portal Fernndez Concha building.
From bus terminal near the Plaza de Armas Metro Station, it will take you there not more than 15 minutes.
When you are in Plaza de Armas, you will see our building in front of the clock's Plaza and the one who has an statue at the last floor center. Go inside and use the elevator going up to 6th floor.

Your location have a beautiful view of the central square from the Hostel which is situated on the sixth floor of an old building on the Plaza de Armas. Cozy hostel, clean rooms and bathrooms. In the morning you can also get breakfast, but you can prepare everything yourself in the spacious kitchen. While you are staying over a busy square, you will not suffer from traffic noise. The hostel is somewhat like a loft, where the kitchen and bathroom are separate rooms, but where the dorms consist of three areas from its ceiling in the large central room. There are few private rooms, which gives onto a beautiful terrace. No private bathroom in this room, but the common bathroom is neat and well maintained, so no problem. Highly recommended hostel.
