Easy access by bus from downtown Florianopolis.
To get there from the Rodoviaria (the main Florianopolis bus terminal), walk 3 blocks to the downtown bus transfer station (TICEN) and take any bus to the Lagoa da Conceiçao bus terminal (TILAG) where you can board the No. 360 bus to Barra da Lagoa (bus fair = R$2.40).
By taxi from downtown Florianopolis to the Hostel = aprox. R$45 (Brazilian Reales)
By taxi from the airport to the Hostel = aprox. R$55 (Brazilian Reales)

Just one minute walk from the center, and from the beach. I have met really cool people. The best atmosphere.
