I had such a great stay here, it is a very comfortable place, you will feel right at home and you are guaranteed to meet tons of cool people. Also the staff are the best, always friendly and very helpful.

Great hostel. i met people from EVERYWHERE here and ended up traveling on with some of them to Iguazu.Friendly staff too.

Martin is the best! He really made my stay memorable...I didnt want to leave! All the staff at La Rocca are super friendly and make you feel at home from the minute you walk in the door. Thanks everyone and I will definitely be back!

The perfect place to meet other travelers, especially for your first stay in Buenos Aires. There is a cozy bar area where you can enjoy your breakfast and check your email using the free wifi. Most weekends there is a fiesta in the hostel bar and you will always find other guests to go out with and explore the amazing BA nightlife.

La Rocca is one of the best values for hostels in the centro of Buenos Aires, affordable prices, all the services you need, plus the location couldn�?t be better. Surrounded by subway and bus lines, and walking distance to tons of great theaters, bars, restaurants, museums, art galleries and more!

Sometimes it can be a bit noisy, but the prices and location can�?t be beat. Try to get a room on the top floor, its a bit quieter up there.

I made the reservation through Minihostel.com, but La Rocca told me that I should have made it the day before. There was no room with a bathroom, but they manage to offer me a room without it for one day. The day after, the room with the bathroom was avalaible. It was quite noisy the first night, sombebody doing a kind of party in the hotel. The second day, I have to wait until 1:30 PM to have the room with the bathroom. The staff seems to do the best they could (they gave me a discount), but I'm not sure I would recommend the place. Specially for the noise.

La Rocca is near to a Subte stop that takes you right to the centre of BA. Breakfasts were great and the social atmosphere was a good introduction to Argentina.

Bedrooms were dirty, dark and hot with no locker space for bags. I felt quite unsafe and unwelcomed so moved out the next morning to another hostel. There were also loud strikes happening outside on the street which according to hostel staff occur frequently.

Great atmosphere, not so clean, showers leave much to be desired, but overall I love it. "Breakfast" is some stale buns with sugar. Don't go if you're not extremely laid back about health conditions, do go if you're looking for a good time :)

Very chill hostel, met lots of cool people. The staff are really friendly and the rates were great, especially considering the really great location, it's really at the heart of the city.

The place is rundown and falling apart. The toilets are broker, so are the doors, knobs, chairs, the shower is dripping- the water stopped in the middle of showering, there id a huge hole on the bottom od the tub under the shower. Amazing how it is still a popular place. I would never reccommend it!

I'm not usually a fussy person, and can put up with a lot. The pictures must be at least 10 years old and the air-con doesn't work in any of the rooms as i found out from all of the other residents. Bathrooms/toilets were really dirty. Then after our 3rd day they started to clean the place in the morning, then when i came back in the afternoon the owner was sitting in the reception, probably the only reason why the place was getting cleaned and it was only brushing all the mess under the sofa etc. Breakfast is the worst quality bread with bad coffee to wash it down with. The kitchen is unbelievably bad, really dirty and grimey, with nothing to cook your food with, so how can you cook. Check it out if you don't believe me.

A special place in Bs As, where you make friends and enjoy many parties! It's not a 5 stars hostel, but there you get just what you give. Cheap, clean and make you feel like home. I recomend !

The room did not corresponded to the reservation I did at home: it should be a double room with bathroom, but when we arrived we found a different one. The bathroom on the corridor was very dirty and the room had an old furniture and carpet!!
