  Not exactly the center of the city, but surrounded by everything you need and just a few steps from the beach! You can sit out on the patio and watch the waves hit, it's very nice. There is a lot of stuff to do near by, like go to the ocean or one of the many parks around the hostel, or the subway is like a 10-15 minute walk. I felt like I was actually visiting Lima instead of being surrounded by tourists at all times, but still safe and comfortable and near cool stuff to do. They helped us set up a bunch of activities like yoga and a city tour!
