This hostel is a one of the less expensive hostels in Cuenca, it is central and family ran. The prices range between 6-10 usd. The family that runs it is extremely nice and helpful.

Apalling considering you are paying $6 per person. The hostel is made up of partitioned rooms in an old office building. Our thin plywood walls didnŽt even reach the ceiling so there is no privacy from the next room. Teenage daughter spent all her time on the guest internet. Other guests played very loud music in the middle of the night which the owners did nothing about. DonŽt stay here, Cuenca is a beautiful city but this hostal really dampened the mood for our stay

I am sorry to say that this hostel is very run down and I would not recommend it. Yes it is very close to the centre but for what we paid it was definitely not worth it.( $15.00 for two, no breakfast) They also did not seem to have a record of what we had paid on line so Minihostels have lost a customer because of this hostel
