I really liked the location and most staff members. I had a situation with the hostel which I didn´t like the way they handled it. They needed the room I was staying in and took all my belongings out without my permission. They didnt show any respect towards me. They left everything out in the reception, didnt care about putting in a bag nor my empty backpack. When i first got there, the room i was supposed to share was locked and I waited for the person who was in to come back and unlock it. And two days later, when i walked in the hostel, I saw all my stuff thrown out of the bedroom as a trash, everything was spread out. They should have handled this situation more professionally respecting all the sides. I hope they learned their lesson. I would go back there for the location and for some people who hang out there, only.

Rayuela was fine, but it didn't offer us anything to distinguish it. The staff were moderately helpful, though gave us wrong directions in the city. All in all, my only substantive complaint is that, compared to hostels elsewhere in Latin America, it wasn't worth the price (but I don't know the rates at other Buenos Aires hostels, so it might not be overpriced for the city).
