Santa Lucia is a hikers? paradise and can only be reached by hiking via Principal Trail which takes about two hours, or a day long hike through Yunguilla. The place is steeped with stunning sceneries of cloud forest and diverse wildlife.

Perched on top of a lofty mountain is the gorgeous rustic Santa Lucia Lodge overlooking a valley. It is surrounded by mountains and valleys and acres of cloud forest which exudes an enchanting quality. The eco-lodge uses eco-friendly gadgets and provides all the comfort of the home. Guests can choose from a private cabana or general accommodation with shared bathroom. Each of the cabanas have breathtaking views of the area and come sturdy beds and super comfortable mattresses. Amply furnished, the room is a refuge after a gruelling day in the forest. There is warm shower which is really a welcome treat.

Great delicious meals are served in a dining area where you get to sit with the other guests, volunteers and the rest of the staff. This is a great opportunity to make friends and learn about the culture of the local people.
