Vidigalbergue Rio Hostel was put together by two guys who loved to travel and have been best friends for over 30 years. Located right on the beach in the Favela of Vidigal, between Leblon and São Conrado, our breakfast room looks out onto a stunning view of the sea and the beaches. The large, airy vistas let lots of light into the comfortable new rooms.

The hostel is just 2 km from the most popular zone of Southern Rio de Jainero, Leblon, where you can find tons of popular bars, cafes, restaurants, discos and clubs, and all the facilities travelers need, like banks, stores, pharmacies, and more. However, Vidigalbergue has something the bigger neighborhoods don?t have, and that is direct beach-front access and a quiet, safe location. Watching the stunning colors of sunrise and sunset reflected on the ocean and clouds is one of the highlight of summer here. In front of the hostel, you can relax in the natural rock pool, a tranquil, private place, where the water is warmed by the sun each day, less than 500 meters from where the waves break on Prainha Beach.

All of our huge, new bedrooms have a beautiful view of the ocean, fans, air conditioning, and lots of light from the windows. Our terrace, where we serve breakfast and throw parties in the evening, has an unbeatable view of the shore, the perfect way to start the day each morning. Feel free to use our fully equipped kitchen to make your own meals with friends or for yourself!
