* Check out the famous Regional Artisan and Producer Fair. El BolsonŽs citizens are known for being artists and every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday they put their products up for sale. This fair is considered one of the best in Argentina as well as in all of South America.
* If it's summertime get involved in some of the numerous watersports offered at the lake. You can go rafting, canoeing, flyfishing, on lake excursions and even scuba diving.
* Get a guide and go hiking through the nearby mountains, or go it yourself. You can also rent horses and go on horseback.
* Want some highspeed adventure? There are many businesses in town that offer paragliding or plane rides.
* During the winter hit the slopes at Cerro Perito Moreno, located just 25 KM from the center of the town.

When you go to El Bolson really depends on what you're looking for. In the winter it gets cold (2009Žs minimun temperature was -10°C) and snows, but if you're looking to ski it's definitely a good destination. In the summer, it becomes a summer vacation hotspot with temperatures getting up to 30°C.
Como chegar
There are many buses to and from Bariloche, where you can catch other buses to farther destinations. Buses also run to Esquel and other Patagonian towns.
There is a small airport near the town called, Aeropuerto El Bolson, which, when visibility is good, has regular flights to other destinations in Patagonia.

Travelers from most countries including the US, UK, Australia, EU citizens, New Zealand, Canada, and Israel do not require a visa to enter Argentina. A 90 day tourist visa will be issued at the airport with a passport. Tourist visas can be renewed for those wishing to stay in Argentina with a quick trip to Uruguay from Buenos Aires. No tourist visa is required of visitors from Israel for stays up to 90 days.

At restaurants it is normal to tip 10%. Taxi drivers do not receive tips but the fare may be rounded up to the nearest peso. Porters can receive a tip of a couple of pesos.
