* Pay a visit to the Tilcara Archaeological Museum and discover an ancient way of living. The museum houses ceramicware, tools, and even a mummy with its original head of hair.
* Don?t miss El Pucara de Tilcara, the most visited site in Tilcara. Orignally inhabited by Omaguacas, this rebuilt historical site shows visitors this ancient civilizations way of living and protecting themselves from first the Inca and then the Spanish.
* Next to the Pucara, the Botanical Gardens are also worth a visit ? and included in your admission to El Pucara.
* Hike to the Garganta del Diablo waterfall ? though the falls themselves aren?t the most spectacular, the trail along the way has breathtaking scenery.
* Enjoy a stroll around this picturesque town, with a far more indigenous feel than the rest of Argentina and pleasantly removed from the noise and hubbub of the city.
