The Bufalo Branco is probably the best place in the city for churrasco (a method of cooking of tender cuts of meat on long steel skewers over a hot grill. At a traditional churrascaria restaurant you are served at your table from the skewer and sliced off by the waiter). On the menu there are a lot of fine cuts such as picanha- rump steak, alcatra-sirloin, filet mignon, maminha-rump steak, and contra filet-entrecôte. Fish, salad bar and several cold dishes are also in the menu
Located in Foz do Iguaçu?s downtown, on the main avenue (Ave. Brazil). This restaurant is frequented by locals and specializes in fine meats and seafood, especially "moqueca", which is a must try for any tourist. The restaurant capacity is 80 people and is air-conditioned. It is also wheelchair accessible.
Note: Open from Tuesday through Friday only for dinner.
Saturdays and Sundays open for lunch and dinner.
This is a nice, simple restaurant for those trying to save a few bucks. The meat is ok, the salad bar is decent, and the price includes some simple desserts as well. A clean, simple place to eat with good service.
