Disappointing

During two phone conversations and email correspondance 5 days before arrival a private room with airconditiong for 3 nights was confirmed, but only a couple of hours after arrival it became clear the managers overbooked me and changed me to another hostel (with a very similar name, but not the same atmosphere and without a swimming pool). The reason given: I did not make a money transfer by Western Union (over the phone they said that bus company and bus times were enough to confirm the booking) as they don't accept credit cards.... 
Normally I don't mind so much, but it was more the way 'the managers' presented it; like it was all my fault (not them making booking mistakes). 
Unfortunately this has been the worst hostel I stayed at during my 4 weeks travelling in Chile and Argentina. 
The lack of enthousiasm and people interest by the managers (not the hostel staff!) gives the place a chill in a very hot climate.
