I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to buy travel equipment in Argentina instead of bring it with me from my country.
Can i find the good brands there? or at least something local of good quality?
How are the prices over there?

I would suggest bringing whatever you can with you. You can find good brands here but the prices are going to be more expensive. I would suggest bringing the most important things you need and if you forget any smaller items you can buy them here. You can find lots of outdoor equipment here, there are even Columbia stores in Buenos Aires. Hope that helps!

I think the exact opposite! The prices here are lower than in Europe (for example) and it's of a good quality. The best brand that i know here is MONTAGNE, they have shops all over Buenos Aires. Anyway, i think you should buy you stuff here...

I agree. In Argentina, the equipment is cheaper. You should look fo NORTHLAND, DOITE and MONTAGNE. They are top quality!
