I am gonna be in rio for one week in february. Havent decided if gonna do it independent or join a 1 week tour. Just wondering if anyone had any advice on whether there is a particularly good hostel to stay in as a lone traveller. Has anyone stayed in one of the minihostels in Rio?

This might be too late to help out Patch, but if anyone's reading it with the same question, I just stayed at Rio Hostel, one of the minihostels in (duh) Rio, and had a really awesome time. Great location, chill staff, and met really cool people staying there. Definitely recommended!
