Anyone knows the "REAL" price of the flight to see the Nazca lines??
I'v been hearing different prices from different ppl –
I know these 2 British guys that paid 70$ each, then some Israelian that
Paid only 40$, and a Dutch couple that paid 120$ each!!
I'm going there in 2 weeks, and I don't wane get ripped off!!

The Dutch couple got SERIOUSLY ripped off dude!
And the Israeli paid the cheapest I heard. I was there 2 months ago and paid 50$, And so did the rest of my group (we were a dozen).
After negotiation. i speak some Spanish so I guess that helped.
b.t.w, don't expect to get a full 45 minutes, it's more like 30…

I paid 60$ in May this year. And I got 40 minutes and some fun air tricks from a really nice pilot – Pedro.
I think this is a fair price.

Before it was cheaper – something like 35$, but then in April this year a plane crashed there and 5 French tourists died (the pilot left unharmed.). the prices doubled since then, as explained to me later on that month by a local Taxi driver, because of some new regulations that made the tour agencies and the airport and everyone involved pay insurance and stuff like that, making the operation a few bucks more expansive.

I think that in these things – as in Flying an old Cessna in a 3rd world country, it's better safe then sorry, so pay the extra $ if it sends them to flying school… 

Mark, my driver told me that the "Extra charges" that the new regulations requirement is about 2.5$ a person, and a few more pennies for a couple of new employees in the airport to keep order…
So they could charge 5$ more. U know what? 10$ more. But they chose to double it!
And you still don't get your 45 minutes!
Speaking of which, all the tourism service providers in Peru, including official ones, have a policy of "Take'm for what they got", and they will try to charge each person as much as they can. And that just pissed me off when I traveled there! Rrr
I still get mad thinking about it!!!
I L-O-V-E BOLIVIA!!
