Anybody have a suggestion on where I can see some great Tango in Buenos Aires without paying the steep price of a fancy cena-show? I've been told La Viruta is great http://www.lavirutatango.com/, any other ideas or good places to take a class? Thanks peeps!

Yes, on wednesdays you can go to Sanchez de Bustamente street at 764 (near abasto) to one of the best argentinean tango orchestras: "Orquesta típica Fernandez Fierro". There are around 11 musicians, and they are the real deal, not a touristy artificial show...

Anyone have suggestions on a good place to start taking lessons? I'm an American just for reference, so don't go thinking that I'm ready for the advanced stuff in the milongas just yet. Anyone able to help me out with beginner classes that'll let foreigners in?

Suerte, Evan
