Hello all! Yellow Fever, "Fiebre Amarilla," is back - but don't freak out!! Just make sure you get vaccinated if you're going to anywhere deliciously jungly.
LUCKILY if you are in BA there is a clinic on Ingeniero Huergo 690 that will give you the vaccine - it is the only place in BA so make sure to go there. You have to bring your passport, and its open M-F 1000-1600. In, out, over. And its FREEEEEEEE!!!
You can take the 61 or 62 colectivo to Paseo Colon 600ish and walk 2 blocks to Ingeniero Huergo 690. (It's the crossing of Ingeniero Huergo AND Chile. You can also take the Train (not the subte!) that passes Puerto madero to the INDEPENDENCIA stop. The place is across the rail road. watch out when crossing!
The injection is free, whether or not you are a citizen or have a DNI/whatever. You really need it if you are going to the jungle, though some places recommend it for placs like Iguazu as well.
If you think vaccinations make you high, you should try giving blood. Fantastic.
