Apr09David Church KevinThanks for another imtornafive Podcast. We have been to Gigha and the Queens Beach at the north end is a magical place to watch the sun go down.I think you have got the content just right, having been to these places and listening to you, for anybody visiting this area for the first time, you are doing a grand job of selling it.Tarbert again you describe well. We have dined in the Starfish seafood restaurant which I highly recommend and for the DIY chefs there is the seafood shop which sells any shellfish you could ever want including Razor Clams. This is situated by the ferry terminal. There also is a local artist Stewart Herd who paints local scenes from the islands, his gallery is on the corner as you drive through Tarbert. That enough rambling from me.Once again thanks for the mention.RegardsDavid
I think one of the saddest tinghs about Mexican food in the US is that the pastry and desert is always overlooked. Pumpkin empanadas and sopapillas are delicious. I don't know how to make them, I usually get them from a local bakery. Mexican seafood is also good.
